This Privacy Policy describes how HerbMeds (“HerbMeds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit shopherbmeds.com, place an order, or contact us.

Information we collect

For an order, we receive information needed to process and ship it, which may include the customer’s name, shipping address, email address supplied by PayPal, items ordered, order total, shipping selection, and payment status. PayPal processes payment-card and account details under its own privacy practices. HerbMeds does not receive a customer’s full payment-card number through this checkout.

If you use the wholesale inquiry form, we collect the business and contact details and product interests you submit so we can respond to your inquiry and provide the catalog or wholesale information you requested.

If you sign up for the HerbMeds email list, we collect your email address, optional name, the time and source of your consent, and your email preferences. Signup provides a unique welcome code that can be used once. Promotional emails are sent about every two weeks and may include rotating 10% discount codes. You can unsubscribe using the link in any promotional email. Resend processes newsletter contacts and sends the email. Newsletter subscribers are kept separate from wholesale catalog contacts.

If you create a customer account, Auth0 processes your sign-in details. HerbMeds stores the name, email address, optional phone number, and shipping address you save in your account so you can review and update them. Account data is stored in the store database and protected behind your sign-in. Your account does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email; that requires the separate optional checkbox. You can remove a saved address in your account or contact herbmeds1@gmail.com to request account-data deletion.

Customer accounts use a necessary, secure, HttpOnly sign-in cookie to keep your session active. Auth0 and the site's hosting and database providers process information needed to authenticate you and save your profile.

When you visit the site, our hosting and security services may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, and request logs, to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site. The shopping cart may store cart selections in your browser so they remain available while you shop.

Store traffic statistics

Our first-party traffic monitor stores a random browser identifier in local storage and records public page paths and visit times to estimate visitor and page-view totals. These records do not include names, email addresses, IP addresses, full browser user-agent strings, search terms, or URL query parameters, and are not linked to customer accounts. Only the owner can view aggregate statistics. The monitor skips browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals and browsers that block local storage. You can remove its browser identifier by clearing this site’s local storage. Clearing storage or using another browser may cause a future visit to count as a new visitor. Hosting providers may separately process the technical information described above.

How we use information

We use information to operate the store; calculate and fulfill shipping; process and reconcile payments; maintain order and business records; respond to customers and wholesale inquiries; protect the site and prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations.

If you choose Subscribe & Save, PayPal processes recurring payments for the product and schedule you select. HerbMeds stores the subscription ID, selected product and frequency, shipping address, quoted shipping charge, and renewal status so we can fulfill recurring orders. You can manage or cancel the automatic payment through PayPal.

Internal paid-order email alerts

When PayPal confirms an order as paid, HerbMeds sends a transactional email alert to the store owner at the business email address the owner provided. Customers are not enrolled in these alerts. The alert may include the order number and total, customer name and email, shipping address, items, shipping service, and a time-limited link for printing an invoice or shipping label. Resend processes the message so it can be delivered to the owner.

HerbMeds does not send SMS order alerts. We may use service providers, including PayPal, USPS, hosting, database, and email providers, to perform services for the store. They receive only information needed for their service and are not authorized by HerbMeds to use order information for their own marketing.

Retention and protection

We retain order and inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to complete the purposes described above, maintain business records, address issues, and meet legal requirements. We use access controls and reasonable safeguards to protect information. No website or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and contact

You may contact us to ask about or request correction of information associated with an order, newsletter subscription, or inquiry, subject to records we need to keep.
